{ } How it works
WebP to JPG works on the file you upload. Adjust the options, then select Process ▸ and it runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded to a server — then shows the result in the Output panel.

- WebP image — upload a file (.webp,image/webp); it is read locally in your browser
- Quality (1–100) — a value (default: "90")

A downloadable JPG file — use the Download button in the Output panel.

- Open an image in software that will not read WebP.
- Attach a picture to a form or a system that only accepts JPG.
- Hand an image to someone whose tools show WebP as a broken file.
{ } Limitations
- Transparency is filled with white, because JPEG has no alpha channel. A WebP with a transparent background arrives with a solid white one.
- This is a second lossy encode, so some quality goes even at a high setting.
- Metadata is dropped in the canvas round-trip.

Why would I convert away from WebP?
Usually because something will not accept it: older desktop software, some print workflows, the occasional upload form. If everything in your chain reads WebP there is no reason to convert, because the JPG will be larger at the same quality.
