{ } How it works
Image Collage & Merge works on the files you upload. Adjust the options, then select Process ▸ and it runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded to a server — then shows the result in the Output panel.
Inputs
- Images — add the files to process (image/png,image/jpeg,image/webp,.png,.jpg,.jpeg,.webp); they are read locally in your browser
- Columns (blank = square grid) — a value
- Gap between images (px) — a value (default: "8")
- Background colour — a value (default: "#ffffff")
Output
A downloadable PNG file — use the Download button in the Output panel.

- Put before-and-after shots side by side in one image.
- Build a contact sheet from a set of photos.
- Merge screenshots into a single image for a document or a bug report.
{ } Limitations
- Every cell is the same size, taken from the median of the images you upload. One much larger image is scaled down to fit rather than setting the size for all the others.
- Images are scaled to fit their cell and never cropped, so cells can have space around them when the shapes differ. Filling the cell would mean cutting content off.

Is my data uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser — your files never leave your device.
Can I process more than one file at once?
Yes — add several files and they’re all processed and downloaded together as a ZIP.
Is this tool free?
Yes — it’s completely free and needs no sign-up.
What order are the images placed in?
The order they appear in the list, left to right and then down. Remove and re-add a file to move it to the end.
Can I make the images fill their cells?
Not by design. Filling a cell means cropping, and cropping someone’s photo without being asked loses content they cannot get back from the result. Crop first if that is what you want.
